Just watched Prometheus. (Spoiler alert) Damn it bummed me out. I so didn’t expect that in year 2093, the finest scientists and perfect androids on the most expensive, important scientific mission in the history of humanity go around alien planets touching creepy alien black liquid with their fingers. With their fucking fingers. Because they are scientists and they are really curious people. It’s just that when they see shit, they just gotta touch it. “You see that black hole with green smoke coming out of it? I’m gonna finger that hole so good, right now. No, I’m gonna stick my nose and then my dick in it.” I bet that prehistoric cavemen used sticks to touch strange stuff, not their fucking fingers. A biologist whose reaction to the first sight of extraterrestrial life in the form of a nasty goddamn mutant snake is “Awww hello cutie I am going to touch you now because this scene was written by a malfunctioning water cooler”. These are the same scientists who travel years through deep, deep space to reach a planet and start analyzing it’s atmosphere DURING the decent. These little stupid problems are 10 times more irritating because we already (80 years before this mission) have the technology to decipher atmospheres of distant objects. We had that technology how many decades ago? I know it’s meant to be entertainment but that is just some lazy, amateur, 80’s B movie writing and to invest so much money and effort into the project and to have Ridley Scott direct it and to end up with a not really scary and not really sci movie just bums me out. It’s my bad I just expected something finer I guess. What did you guys think of it?

From the GIF to politics to the apocalypse to Honey Boo Boo, the guys from I Love Charts bring you the year’s top cultural obsessions — in GIF form, of course.
Zombies
2012 was a year where major issues dominated the global narrative. Mainly we talked about the election and zombies.
